A READING FROM COLOSSIANS
May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power, so that you may have all endurance and patience, joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
MESSAGE IN A PARAGRAPH OR TWO
The lesson is a prayer from Paul to the Colossians. The letter to the Colossians has been preserved for us for over 2000 years for a reason. The same words that Paul used to address those people long ago are very fitting for us today.
As you begin a new week, may the words from the Apostle Paul serve as a constant blessing. We have forgiveness. Our future is secure. Let’s be thankful and live thankful. Let’s share the reason for our joy with others.
